When filing documents with the court:
- Bring the original document and (at least) one copy.
- File the original with the court clerk.
- Stamp the copy with the Court Clerk’s date stamp (if you are not sure, ask the Court Clerk).
- Keep the copies (now called “conformed copies” with your court documents.
